Venue: England, in London at the Lords Cricket Stadium. The 5 days Test Match was Scheduled from 11 to 15 June 2025. South Africa won their very first Cricket World Cup Title and removed the Chokers Tag.

The South African Man’s National Cricket Team History:
In 1970 the South African National Cricket Team was banned from taking part in international cricket by the ICC, because of the then Apartheid Government's National Racial Policies.
In 1991, after about 21 years of being banned, the South African National Cricket Team was unbanned and they played their 1st ODI {One Day International} Cricket match against India, in the Indian City called Kolkata, on 10 November 1991.
In April 1992, South Africa played its 1st Test Cricket match against West Indies in a City called Bridgetown, in Barbados.
In 2005 South Africa played their first T20 Match against New Zealand on 21 October in South Africa at the Wanderers Stadium, in Johannesburg.
As we look on the Photo above, we see that South Africa has played 2 Quarter Finals, 12 Semi Finals and 1 Final Match before they could win, their 1st ever World Cup Final, when they won the World Test Championship {WTC} on 14 June 2025, by beating Australia by 5 wickets, at the Lords Cricket Stadium in England.
The Captain was Temba Bavuma and the Vice Captain was Aiden Markram and together they made a 147 runs, batting partnership that helped South Africa to win.
South Africa Reached their very 1st Final Match in 2024:
During the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup, the South African National Cricket Team reached their very 1st World Cup Final Match as they Faced India.
This means that it took our Country 33 years to reach their very 1st World Cup Final Match, after failing to reach the Finals in 2 Quarter Finals and 11 Semi-Final Defeats.
This made South Africa to be the 2nd Team in the Southern Hemisphere to can Reach the ICC Cricket Final.
This also made South Africa to be the 1st African Country to reach the ICC Cricket Final, for the 1st time in history.
Even though India won by 7 Runs, they were lucky to win the match, by time delaying that took place when one of their players required Medical Attention during play.
